Continuing and expanding its activities in cooperation with China, the Euro-Asian Business Education Foundation organized – on 7-13 June 2014 another trip of Polish delegation to China, under the chairmanship of Mr. Grzegorz Calik – President of the Foundation. The participants of the trip included, among others, Mr. Wojciech Kozak – Vice  Marshal of the Malopolska Region, Mr. Tadeusz Matusz – Deputy Mayor of Krakow and prof. Dariusz Bogdał – Vice-Rector of Cracow University of Technology for Education and Cooperation with Foreign Countries.

Polish delegation participated in numerous meetings and events that took place in several Chinese cities and provinces. In Ningbo, Polish representatives took part in celebrations and events related to Ningbo – CEEC Economic & Cultural Exchange Week. There were discussions between representatives of both countries at the ministerial level, participation in a conference on economic and cultural cooperation between the city of Ningbo and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the visit of the Polish team on fair – CEEC Ningbo Fair known throughout the Zhejiang province. These activities were an opportunity to expand international cooperation in many fields and areas.

In cooperation between Foundation and China Council For the Promotion of International Trade Tianjin Sub-Council, at a meeting held on 12 June 2014, an agreement was signed between the two parties. The agreement concerns the common organization of the event, which will be a “Festival of Polish Healthy Food in Tianjin”. It is a project which main goal is the active promotion of Polish agri-food products in China. From the Foundation an agreement was signed by President Grzegorz Calik, from the CCPIT Tianjin – by Vice Chairman Mr. Dong Libin. Witness of the signing ceremony was Mr. Wojciech Kozak – Vice Marshal of the Malopolska Region.

The Polish delegation also visited Tianjin Agricultural University, and met, among others, Mr. Yuan Ying – Director of Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, and the President of the University – Mr. Xing Kezhi, who is also a member of the PRC Parliament.

Polish representatives also took part in meetings with representatives of the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission and Tianjin Chengjian University.

With the existing relations and cooperation between the EAFBE Foundation and Chaoynag – the District of Beijing, the Polish delegation also visited Beijing, where had the opportunity to meet, among others, with the First Secretary of the Chaoynag District – Mr. Cheng Lianyuan, Vice Mayor of the Chaoyang District – Ms. Zhang Lixin, as well as heads of departments of international cooperation, trade, education and culture of the region.

Individual discussions and meetings of Polish and Chinese representatives, are the result of active operations of the Foundation and its ongoing cooperation and contacts with numerous Chinese partners.
