On 27 -19 September in the city of Huainan (Anhui Province) was held trade fair of food industry. The opening ceremony of the fair was held on 27 September at 9 am. Fair was opened by the highest authorities of the city, including the Mayor and Vice – Mayor. The Foundation was invited to participate in the opening ceremony as a representative of foreign companies and the guest of honor. Since the Foundation was the only direct representative of foreign companies and foreign products, that fact attracted great attention of visitors to the fair. The event was attended by approx. 100 local companies – producers and distributors, as well as representatives of supermarket chains.

The purpose of the Foundation, was both direct promotion and advertising for represented companies and food products, but also to realize a potential customer association between product brand with a potential place of purchase – two supermarket chains with imported food cooperating with the Foundation (which are hypermarkets Yilan and Hualian). The Foundation represented, among others , companies such as Eko-Aronia from over the Biebrza and Orchard Farm MB. Visitors expressed great interest in Polish products and the ability to purchase them in the future. The booth where Foundation was located, was located in the vicinity of the stands above mentioned hypermarkets, which would also facilitate the establishment of the above-mentioned connection.

The fair was also visited by a delegation of city authorities with the Vice-Mayor Mr. Dong Zhongbin, which resulted in increased interest in the stand of the Foundation and presented products.
