EAFBE delegation’s visit in China
Assuming the continuation of its activities initiated with delegation in December, Foundation represented by the President — Mr. Gregory Calik and Ms. Karolina Miller, took a two-week visit to China in the period of 23.02.2014-08.03.2014 . The aim of the trip was activities related to consolidating and expanding existing cooperation established by the various institutions involved in the delegation organized by the Foundation in December 2013 , as well as search for new partners and opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education, culture , business, and new technologies.
The Foundation had the opportunity to meet with partners in the following cities:
- Beijing,
- Tianjin,
- Xuzhou,
- Linhai,
- Ningbo,
- Zhanjiang,
- Guangzhou .
Meetings with existing educational partners allowed us to determine the details of further cooperation with the Partner Universities in Poland, which will result in concrete actions in this field. In the near future is expected the arrival of delegation of selected universities from China to Poland.
Thank to all the contacts, we also managed to establish cooperation with new Universities in cities such as Xuzhou and Zhanjiang. Universities from these cities have expressed their to far-reaching willingness in terms of establishing cooperation with Polish partners. The Foundation will also work with a partner from China in the preparation and opening new of the Confucius Institute in Poland.
The result of efforts of the Foundation, was a meeting, during which there was established extensive cooperation with CCPIT in the field of mutual promotion of business and its various branches. Currently the Foundation in consultation with the CCPIT is preparing a project to promote the Polish food industry in China.
During the meeting with the Beijing Overseas Talent Center, the Foundation also established cooperation with a number of Technology Parks and Business Incubators in Beijing. As part of the joint action, there will be created informant for individual institutions of this type at the Foundation’s website.
With a clear will and the active efforts of both sides, taken matters will have real continuation in the nearest future.
